Happy New Year…
Ripley’s …. Believe it or Not! – 1936 Oldsmobile.
Gretchen Brown of Spokane, WA ., bought this 1936 Oldsmobile in 1936 for $950.00 and has driven daily and registered every year until her death in 1992….. the Oldsmobile still has it’s Washington plates with the 1992 tag.
1936 Oldsmobile – Series F – Six. Model 363601 2-dr. Sed.-5p, Total Production 13,143. Original Inline, L-Head Six Engine (Overhauled in 1972 @ 100,000 Miles). The car has been repainted twice….it’s original colors. Most service receipts from the 1940’s thru Today. After Gretchen passed away in 1992 the car sat in a warehouse in Spokane for 20 years. Since we have had it we have treated it to a tune up, fuel pump, concours correct new interior and interior restoration, new fender welting, correct trunk restoration and detailing, and new tires. Runs and drives great… Very solid, and no rattles….
